The Irish Heritage Trust, a charity, was created in 2006 to care for historic properties, houses and gardens throughout Ireland. With our passion for exceptional places, we hope to bring benefits to local communities through tourism, employment or simply by providing an atmosphere for pleasure and relaxation.

We plan to acquire historic sites and special places across Ireland.
The Trust started caring for its first property, Fota House, Arboretum and Gardens, Cork on 20th December 2007.
As a charity the Trust depends on support from individuals and organisations across Ireland and beyond.
