The Irish Heritage Trust and Poetry Ireland are headquartered at No. 11 Parnell Square, Dublin and are working together to unlock the potential of this beautiful historic building in the heart of Dublin City.
Thanks to the generosity of Fingal County Council, No. 11 Parnell Square is the home of these not-for-profit organisations, working together to restore, revive and enhance the building’s fascinating 250-year history.
We are excited about establishing a significant cultural hub that will be used by a wide variety of educational, arts, cultural and heritage organisations. This involves exciting plans to create ‘The Poetry Ireland Centre’ as well as a shared heritage space, in a historic building that can be enjoyed by the public for generations to come.
This cultural hub at No. 11 has the potential to become an integral part of a visionary project to fulfil the City’s ambitions for a cultural cluster with high public footfall in the Parnell Square area. No. 11 will proudly join the world-renowned Gate Theatre and Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, as well as the Dublin Writers Museum, the Irish Writers Centre, The James Joyce Centre and the proposed new City Library in Dublin’s de facto literary quarter.
